Marie-Claude, Pascal and Julien Lescure are the proud owners of the Moulin de Dannemois, the home of the legendary Claude François. They welcome curious people and unconditional fans all year round. Thanks to them, the soul of the singer now hovers over this magnificent residence.
It was in 1964 that Claude François, in search of a peaceful place to escape from the spotlights and the processions of admirers, discovered a twelfth-century mill, nestled in the heart of a small village in the Essonne: Dannemois. It was there that the idol chose to shelter his family and receive his friends. In fourteen years of presence and nine years of work, Claude François made the Moulin "his house of happiness", until his death on March 11, 1978. It was only twenty years later that Pascal and Marie-Claude Lescure moved in, with the firm intention of preserving the soul of the place.
